Educational Sales Representative

Description

We are seeking a passionate Educational Sales Representative to drive SMALLab’s growth through networking, digital marketing, and appointment setting. The ideal candidate is a driven sales representative with a sincere passion for transforming K-12 education!

In this position, you will conduct outbound call and email campaigns, follow up with inbound leads, and run prospect nurturing campaigns on behalf of SMALLab. The prospects will consist of a variety of audiences including superintendents, principals, and teachers. You will need to be able to adapt to these different audiences accordingly. Your goal is to create more sales-ready prospects for our Sales Team. Activity and productivity will be tracked on a per campaign basis.

In addition, you’ll help to transform K-12 learning for schools, museums, and libraries across the country. You'll expand the community of SMALLab educators, and have a positive impact on K-12 students and teachers for years to come!

This position will begin on a contract basis with the option to grow into a full-time role. You'll have a lot of flexibility and can work from home!

What Makes a Great Candidate?

  • 2+ years of success in B2B prospect generation and appointment setting. This includes experience speaking with gatekeepers and influencers.

  • Ability to learn and describe the SMALLab story effectively to prospects.

  • Ability to get prospects interested in learning more from our sales team and gather information to qualify the opportunity.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.

  • Business professionalism with strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with excellent time management.

Additional Requirements

  • 2+ years of K-12 education sales experience

  • 2+ years of experience in selling technology services

  • 5+ years of total sales experience
